Now that you have learnt a little about the different coloured foods and what effect they have on the body, I want you to do something for me!!! For the next week write up a chart with all the colours of the rainbow across the top, each day as you eat something tick the box as to which colour you have consumed. At the end of the week see which colours you need to add to your daily intake and add them the following week. It is ideal to consume all the colours every day.
Having some friends over or looking for something quick to feed the family? Why not do up a rainbow bowl like the one above! How beautiful to share with your family or friends, you could even teach them a little about the benefits of each colour!

Here are some words from some of our past Rainbow Walkers:
“I just wanted to thank you for all the effort you have put into the Rainbow Challenge. After 7 days, I have lost 2.5kg and feel like I have more energy. Im not craving sugar or coffee and will be continuing on my healthier habits into the future! It was the perfect way to kick start healthier eating and reminded me how YUM healthy eating can be. The recipes were fabulous and I look forward to joining you again on your next one!!” Marnie
“We (kids and I) thoroughly enjoyed the challenge! My kids have both made better healthy lunch choices for school, I admit there may have been a couple of rainbow meals due to graduations, but as a whole I’m pretty chuffed with the effort we all put in! Red day was a favourite because of all the fresh strawberries, watermelon and cherries green day was also a favourite with cucumber and kiwi and we love our spinach! As you may know our afternoon tea routine isn’t great (italians ) but im extremely happy that my children had opted for healthy colour of the day snacks. I myself have benefited alot from this, I have always eaten reasonably healthy but doing this with the kids has really opened our eyes to foods that we perhaps would not choose everyday, eg yellow watermelon. The rainbow challenge has been a great conversation starter and we are certainly feeling better for it, thanks Bec!” Evelyn
“I absolutely loved eating the colours of the rainbow. It was a real feast for the eyes! I intended to do raw and juices only but didn’t want to stress myself too much so had a couple of steamed meals in the evenings. It made it doable but next time I’ll just do raw. By the end, it was such a pleasure eating all colours of raw rainbow. It felt wonderful energetically. I lost 1.5kg in the week which was also a lovely by-product given the recent covid kilos. Thank you for introducing me to the Rainbow Bridge challenge. It will definitely be part of future changes in seasons, particularly when water fasting is not an option” Helena
“This was an amazing week on the Rainbow Bridge! Several lessons learned. I could tell a huge difference this weekend, as the sun was out and snow melting…much more energy with great food and fresh air! My family joined me for the last 2 days and we had fun juicing together! Thanks to all in this group, as the accountability was a big factor. Shoutout and Thanks to Beck for setting this all up!!” John
