Iridology Consultation - Health analysis

Iridology + Sclerology + Selfcare Assessment

Taking the first step – an Insight into where your health is right now along with identifying any pre-dispositions to your health and where you would like to be.

By using simple tools, such as a flashlight, magnifying glass and camera, I will carefully study and examine your eyes.

The iris & sclera reveal inflammation, distress and toxicity in the body, as well as detect any inherent predisposition to certain illnesses and health problems at the earliest stage.

Iridology – an examination of the colour and structure of the iris.

Sclerology – an examination of the sclera (the whites of the eye).

Self Care Assessment – an overall assessment on your current and past health.

You can find us located at:

Lymphatic Massage

Lymphatic Massage is a unique, massage technique used to stimulate the flow of lymphatic fluid around your body in order to promote fluid circulation and detoxification.

It is NOT an ordinary massage! It is different to your usual soft touch.  We use a specific amount of pressure and rhythmic circular movement to stimulate the lymph, encouraging its movement towards the heart for the drainage of fluid and waste.

Lymphatic Massage assists with:

  • Detoxification
  • Removal of bacteria, dead cells, trapped proteins
  • Pain Relief
  • Weight Loss
  • Increase Energy Levels
  • Immune Health
  • Metabolism
  • Fluid Retention

The benefits are endless!

Ignoring the health of your lymphatic system means your immunity is going to suffer, and you’re more likely to deal with common illnesses and even long-term health problems, which may include:-

  • Rashes
  • Sore throats
  • Sick often
  • Cellulite
  • Breast swelling
  • Joint Pain
  • Swelling of lymph nodes in the throat, armpits or groin
  • Muscle aches and pains
  • Hormone Problems
  • Stress

Everyone can benefit from improved Lymphatic Health!

Lymphatic Compression is the MOST effective way to improve circulation, re-educate lymphatic flow, flush lactic acid and increase oxygenation to muscle tissues.

Most people fall into a deep sleep while relaxing in our beautiful sleep room, listening to a meditation or music… believe me whether you are:

> returning to sport with sore muscles
> sick of thick swollen ankles
> stressed and need a new form of relaxation
> concerned about the shape of your body
> recovering from surgery
> just want to LOVE YOUR BODY

Active recovery ensures faster results. Add in a lymphatic massage to enhance your results 😉

It improves mobility and provides profound healing results for patients with conditions including lymphedema, venous insufficiency, non-healing wounds, and other circulatory conditions.

Enjoy The Benefits that a Lymphatic Drainage Massage Has to Offer

Insight Into Self Care was born from a passion that had been fuelled by purpose and in-depth knowledge gained over many years. We firmly believe in lifelong learning, and when our clients ask us, “what is lymphatic drainage massage?” we use that opportunity to explain what it is and how beneficial it can be, no matter your age.

What Is a Lymphatic Drainage Massage?

Simply put, we will manipulate certain areas of your body so that lymph is moved somewhere that your lymph vessels are functional. To help you understand this better, you’ll need to know how your lymphatic system works:

  • It comprises vessels and nodes containing lymph – a mixture of water, immune system components, waste products, and proteins.
  • The lymph nodes in your body filter this mixture, and you will find the largest lymph nodes in your armpits, neck, and groin. They are there to ensure that the lymph moving back to your heart is clean.
  • Although lymphatic drainage massage was initially aimed at treating patients with lymphedema, it has evolved over time. If you suffer from lymphedema, you will experience symptoms such as heaviness in your limbs, tissue swelling, weakness, skin discolouration, pain, or recurring infections.

How Do I Know if I Will Benefit From a Massage for Lymphatic Drainage?

A lymphatic drain massage may not be the same as a straightforward Swedish back or shoulder massage, but you will still enjoy various benefits. We have already established that this massage is beneficial to lymphedema sufferers, but we can also offer some relief from other conditions.

  • You may experience poor lymph flow if you suffer from rheumatoid arthritis, which means you will feel more pain in your joints and lose joint function. Our lymph drainage massage can help to ease some of these symptoms.
  • If you have tissue swelling and skin discolouration as a result of fibromyalgia, lymph drainage massage may help with the stiffness you experience – it has been found to be more effective than connective tissue massage.
  • For those of you living with chronic venous insufficiency, a lymphatic drainage massage may aid in speeding up your blood flow. Your femoral artery will be function better straight after your massage session, which improves your blood flow from your legs back to your heart.

Services We Offer in Addition to Lymphatic Drainage Massage

Whether you’re keen to make your first appointment for a lymphatic drainage massage, or you’ve been to us before, you may not know about the other products and services we provide.

  • You may suffer from swollen ankles, be recovering from surgery, or slowly returning to sports and have sore muscles. If so, our Normatec Compression therapy is ideal for you. This is a highly effective way to flush lactic acid from your muscles, improve your circulation and increase oxygenation to your muscle tissues. This therapy focuses on your legs, arms, or hips.
  • We understand that it can be difficult to achieve health goals on your own, which is why we offer guided group cleanses. Join us and work towards feeling revitalised and letting go of old habits that no longer benefit you. You’ll join our private Facebook group, receive an e-book with cleansing recipes, and have access to group discussions and online support, as well as special professional health guests.
  • In addition to these services, you can choose from our extensive range of books, personal care products, natural remedies, in-home products, and a selection of organic items.
You will also be spoiled for choice when it comes to the Don Tolman variety – e-books, essential oils, and self-care items.

Why We Should Be Your First Choice for a Facial Massage with Lymphatic Drainage

Besides the obvious passion we have for what we do, as well as our ever-increasing knowledge base, there are other reasons for you to choose us:

  • Firstly, our products are organic.
  • In addition, they are plant-based and contain no chemicals.
  • This is excellent in terms of health benefits, especially if you are taking medication for a specific health condition.

A Little More About Insight Into Self Care

We first started offering our services a little over 18 months ago. Our founder lost her mum to cancer when she was a teenager and also suffered from a variety of health issues, such as IBS and endometriosis. As a result, she has been passionate about leading a naturally healthy lifestyle. Seeing the positive developments in her own health, her enthusiasm soon turned to focus on helping others. We want to guide you to take back control of your health, naturally and holistically.

We would love to hear from you if you have any questions about lymphatic drainage massage or any of the other products or services we have available.
